I’ve got to admit it’s getting better…

… It’s getting better all the time. Sorry,… A little old-school song reference there. Needless to say, I’m in a fairly good mood. Gonna get some good work done tomorrow, almost completed on my masquerade mask (and Jenny’s) for Metrocon, and just loving life in general. Progress for Metro is a little slower then expected, but it’ll all work out in the end. It’s going to be a blast to be able to perform with the Bells (www.animebelle.com) again in the “Fairytale Theature”. I’m really excited. Well, gotta get some Zzz’s in. Catch you all later!

I came! I saw! I Hero Clix’d!

I was invited by a friend to come to a local comic book shop and play in a small tournament that they host there. I’ve never played before, so I went over to his house, this afternoon, to learn how to play and to pick out a team. I’d like to say that I was a natural pro at it and I ended up winning and the angels came down from heaven and trumpeted me with praise, money, and delicious caramel-heath ice cream. While none of these happened, I actually faired pretty good and ended up with a score (which, I honestly thought I was going to not end up with). So, shall I become the next clix master? Probably not… But, I don’t think I’ll mind playing it again. Till then, though, I’ll be off… -dashes away, Freakazoid style.-

Yo!

Kickin’ back on a day off; relaxin’ and doing some laundry. Saw a preview for a new movie coming to Theatures called “Splice”. I’m extremely interested to see what it’s about. Also, rented the “One Piece” movie: “The desert princess and the Pirates: Adventures in Alabasta”. I’ve not really gotten very into the series, as of yet, but I thought the movie was good and, having originally watched the series when it was being dubbed by 4kids ( I know.. Weep for me), I figured I’d see how the voice acting was.

I wasn’t dissappointed, actually… Except for with Zoro’s voice which (honestly) I had enjoyed previously as the one from the 4kids dub. Everyone else, however, sounded the same or better then the original picks did. The movie, itself, was kinda “chopped up” where they pulled scenes and scene sequences from various points in this particular arc of the Manga; merging it all together to form the movie. It’s not bad, but it felt a little odd having read this particular sequence and then watching it be hacked up and sewn back together in a frankenstein-ish manner… Thankfully, though, it didn’t leave out to much of the important info (although, it was a little confusing to watch people being maimed in one sequence and then be fine or close to it in the next).

All in all, I probably would recommend this to either the hardcore enthusist who can’t get enough of the straw-hat gang, or to someone whom is just trying to get into the series. But, yeah… It was worth the buck spent renting it, so I’m cool. Anyways, gotta dash. Washer stopped and there are dishes to clean! Catch you guys later!

One too many burgers?

Me thinks that we ate, yesterday, at the beach party… As I reported, we all had a blast, but something has now hit me and Jenny (Jenny worse then I) that has us feeling under the weather a bit today… Anyways, I hope no one else is feeling ill today. At any rate, though, life continues and things will get better. Till next we meet!

Times, Tides, Business, Working, Upgrades, Iron Man, ..busy posting :D

How’s everyone doing? This is awkward, trying to figure out my newest post on the  log but.. im quite sure I’ll download a application to post on my taskbar for easier publishing.
