Dashi game reviews: Dead Island as well as Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Hey Guys! It’s that time again, where I go into my massive stack of games that I have yet to touch. Thank you steam sales. And review some awesome titles! Today I will be reviewing two games that have released this year and have already beaten, Dead Island and Deus Ex: Human Revolution!

Dead Island was one of those games I saw the release trailer for at E3 and immediately got excited, a first person zombie romp kill fest through a island where you have got to survive?! Sign me up! And the months passed and I kept being antsy about it being released and finally.. It was out! So I fired up my rig and prepared for gleeful bliss of running around beating up zombies and being epic. What I got was…Borderlands with zombies.

The game is honestly not that bad.. romping through the island destroying zombies with various weapons you find laying around, healing yourself by eating nothing but fruit and various energy drinks… I swear to god to just restore my health I had to slam down 5 of these energy drinks. And I swore I thought my main character was going to drop from a heart attack! But let’s describe the game in various categories, starting with the weaponry!

You got a little bit of everything to kill with in this game, boat paddles and blunt objects, knives and sharp objects, sledgehammer and impact objects… and then you have various neat little weapons you can make in the game like molotovs, a grenade made out of deodorant cans or a jar of meat that when it explodes on the ground that attracts zombies. Ew. But some of them are kind of cool, like making a electrical machete that shocks zombies when you strike them, or a ripper that is like an electric buzz-saw strapped to a baseball bat that deals damage. I thought the game would have gotten so much easier when I found a pistol or a shotgun, but to my disappointment it was JUST like Borderlands, where even a head shot with a shotgun does not instantly drop the zombie, it takes 2-5 blasts to kill it! And there are various types of zombies that would bring down the hurt on you!

The Story? Same storyline for all of them. You are hanging out at a party one night then it all goes to hell in a hand basket. Zombies, zombies everywhere! The only different bit is the beginning movie and intro to the game. Four characters to chose from (Angry Feminist ex-soldier woman, Ex Hong Kong police woman, Ex Rapper dude, and Ex football guy) all with different abilities, kinda like borderlands.

All in all I did enjoy this game. I had to take it in doses as there were moments of me just flat out quitting the game due to nerd rage from cheap kills by the zombies. But after taking a breather I just had to get back into the game to figure out what happens. If you bought it when it came out brand new, then it was a alright purchase. I am definitely going to wait till it goes on sale to pick it up and add it to my collection, as this is a game I’d like to own, to see the other remaining stories of the other 3 as well as the DLC to it.

For my opinion I give it a 8.5 out of 10 as a good solid zombie romp.

Now some people have never asked for this, but I’m going to give it. Here is my review of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I actually have played the first two games of Deus Ex and I did not have much love for the sequel. So when they announced they were going to do a third Deus Ex game I got excited, then freaked out in horror when it was announced that it was going to be ran by the Final Fantasy remaking company Square-Enix.

The story follows Adam Jensen, security op for Sarif Industries, a top augmentation corporation where a suspected security alarm that triggers in the company. Adam gets sent down there and unfortunately gets attacked by a black-op’s team of augmented soldiers and almost dies, but what happens is that Adam survives through the medial technology of augmentation and begins a search to find out who attacked there building and what happened to the workers there in that location.

As it was a prequel to the first game I really wondered how it would size up to sync with the first game, and honestly it did quite well all the way up to the ending. The story gripped me and I found myself staying up late at night to try to go through and beat this game. There are MULTIPLE AND COUNTLESS ways to go through the game, its incredible! Either through stealth, or running and gunning or by hacking into security systems to disable cameras and send security bots back at there own squads, this game was amazing and it had a solid nod to the first game as it is very cyberpunk like with all the locations.

If you have to own a game in your collection and if you loved the Deus Ex Series, please pick this one up as it was quite a enjoyable game. On this one I had to give it 10/10 and there is still DLC being released for it as well! “The Missing Link” comes out in October and I cant wait to see how this mission goes!

In conclusion after I’ve went through these two awesome titles I have been addicted to playing the 1.9 Pre-release version 3 they have out for Minecraft before its 2.0 release, as well as RAGE. I know that it is going to be a one of those games for me to review as iD software has not really released anything in quite a while. As well, I want to review the Batman Arkham series. I’m going to have to run through Arkham Asylum first before tackling Arkham City when that releases.

Till next time guys, thanks for reading my reviews!

Dashi is not dead! : He’s thrown on a leather racing jacket and has revved it up with a review on the hit anime movie REDLINE

To be honest the last anime series that I watched was Panty and Stocking and that was a fantastic series. Afterwards I sort of went into a huge anime drought and I could get into any new anime’s like Tiger and Bunny or Madoka magica. After months of trying it seemed that I have been cured by famous anime company Mad House. Fantastic anime from the same group who did Trigun, Gungrave, and Chobits? Now you REALLY have my attention!

Redline follows the story of “Sweet” JP – A man with a retro sense of fashion, waves of fans, and tends to have spectacular crashes towards the end of his races. Paid off by the mob for all of his lost races and being on the verge of giving up his dream, he gets voted onto the next stage and gets to compete in the Redline, a vicious race that is held in Roboworld, where if you lose the race you lose more then your car… you lose your LIFE.

Redline is set to release on dvd and blu-ray in november of this year and there are a few theaters that have been showing this film. If you happen to get a chance you have GOT to see this movie. The animation is unique and it took 7 years of production to make this film. The reviews are awesome and I love how Thomas Zoth of Mania.com said “if Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World was a assault on the senses.. Then Redline is a declaration of war.”

10/10 – Go See this if you can, if not add it to your collection of you want awesome anime to show off to your friends.. This movie is LITERALLY Speed Racer.. on CRACK!

Dashi Game Reviews: Homefront And Portal 2!

Hey everyone, Dashi from aniRAGE here. I’ve been pretty busy trying to power marathon through games when I get off work, and I’m here to review two games that I have completed and I guarantee that they are spoiler free so you can still enjoy them. I also will give my opinion on if you wish to add these titles to your collection, or do the smart thing and rent them through gamefly. Now onto our first game review: Homefront!

Homefront was a interesting story with a cookie cutter call of duty styled gameplay element which left me with a bitter burnt taste at the end. “Home is where the war is” was there quote on how the game would be. Well that sure happened, so lets revisit the WHAT IF machine to see what would happen if: North and South Korea united, then our whole global economy collapsed going into the toilet, including making gas 20$ a gallon as well as having a bird flu epedemic that kills millions AND then they went ”You know what? Lets invade America by using a EMP we had hidden in our Peace Satellite!” I’m not kidding, they EMP’d America with using a “peace” satellite. Oh well, let’s go shoot something! Get revenge on those guys for thinking they could take over our America! And now lets get on with our storyline.

You are Robert Jacobs, average tough military guy who was going to a emprisonment camp to get brainwashed to fly planes for the bad guy, sound typical right? Your bus gets slammed by a RPG and you get saved… by the resistance! Hurrah! Because your a helicopter pilot – cuing the rest of the storyline with spoilers so basicly go after a fuel supply to capture for yourself which ends up with a final epic battle across the san fransico bridge – sounds thrilling right? Well the ending is lackluster, no resolution, bascily just displays the logo and the catchphrase which means possible sequel! I did not bother to play the multiplayer because I got it from gamefly and im not a huge fan of multiplayer.

I give Homefront a 7 out of 10. It had a alright storyline but it felt lackluster. It had those pain in the butt firefights that you cursed up and down like a sailor if you messed up and had to go through. Some of the battles took me 3-4 times to beat. If you happen to love escort missions where you have to defend certain equipment like tankers while you are in a helicopter or a robotic tank while using a sniper rifle, then this is up your alley. I would say on renting or buying this game, rent it through gamefly unless you like multiplayer, then go ahead and purchase the game as I heard the multiplayer was really good.

Since we got that manly FPS muscle flexed, lets go ahead and go with our other review and get some brain activity going with Portal 2: Electric Boogaloo.

We resume after being left off from portal as puzzle solver Chell, who was placed in stasis for about seveal hundred years after the first ending, being greeted by Wheatley, who is a intelligent core. Voiced by British ”The Office” star Stephen Merchant, who does a FANTASTIC performance, you travel with Wheatley through the outskirts of a barren abandoned Aperture Labs as GLaDOS has been shutdown since your last encounter. After finding a easily left out portal gun and trying to escape via escape pod you unfortinately flick all the switches that put GLaDOS back online. She is not really happy to see you. She captures and then puts you through another vigorous romp through 19 levels of fun portal testing. After a while, with Wheatley’s help, you escape and sabotage the labs by switching turrets with defective ones and cut/disable the nurotoxin container so she cannot flood the chamber with gas on your final fight. You defeat GLaDOS and replace her core with his in the main system which seems to be fine…until he gets ego happy and gains insane amounts of power and banishes you and GLaDOS to the distant barrens of Aperture Science in the center of the Earth. Now you will be going through the three testing stages of Aperture when it first came out, Alpha – 1951 , Beta – 1971 , and Gamma – 1981, where you meet / mostly listen to Aperture Science’s owner and founder Cave Johnson, who is voiced by J.K. Simmons. You fight past all the new tests as well as learning of new gels they have. You return to Wheatley Laboratories where you do the final confrontation / showdown and amazing ending with Wheatley. I have yet to review coop so that will definitely be something that I need to do as a follow-up in the near future.

I give portal 2 a 10/10 as it is a amazing successor to the first one that keeps your gripped with a amazing storyline, awesome voice acting, intriging easter eggs, as well as replay value with the developers commentary and the remaining trophys. Will I add this to my collection? Oh yes, just because of the fact that I could play it on my PS3, as well as on my PC.

And there you have it! 2 games down I wanted to review! For a upcoming teaser of what im going to review next is going to be – Call Of Duty: Black Ops, La Noire, Duke Nukem Forever, and some games from my personal collection which are a suprise.

Till Next time!

Dashi Has Gamefly!: Lets Review Titles He Has Rented! As Well as his own collection!

I have literally  grown up playing video games and one of my favorite categories has to be First Person Shooters. I can thank my uncle for that, when I was about 7-8 Years old and he installed Doom and Doom 2 on my Pc I had at my house. Since then I have been addicted to playing FPS Games such as Duke Nukem 3d, The Quake Saga, as well as older never heard of titles like Shadow Warrior and Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold.

Now these days I don’t play as much online multiplayer as I used to anymore. I cant really get into playing multiplayer since I got into enjoying MAG and I don’t feel like yelling at a bunch of 12 year olds who think they have 16 inch long egos. But I do tend to like a good FPS story to keep me enthralled while I push on thinking these squad mates are my real life friends, raging when I die and then laughing like a maniac when I get that ultimate weapon in the game to give them Hell for all the times that I was tired at 3 am and I make one STUPID mistake and die like a idiot.

Well, in the upcoming months I plan to review a bunch of games from my own personal collection that I have, what I rent on Gamefly, as well as pick up to own later down the line Like Duke Nukem Forever, La Noire, as well as The Darkness 2. As a spoiler, here are a list of games that I really REALLY wish to review as soon as possible, so expect this to be maybe a daily to weekly bit as my first review will be on that Sleeper FPS Hit – Homefront which I will update later tonight with a synopsis, review, and opinion of this game to save you money or make you go out and buy it!

Till next time! Ok…later tonight after new Doctor Who on BBC America, which would be possibly 9-10pm eastern time.

BTW if I did not express it enough..

NEW DOCTOR WHO ON BBC TONIGHT AT 9PM EASTERN

Happy Easter guys! Don’t eat too many peeps and wait till Monday to reap the sugary benefits when they are on sale…thats what I do.

Dashi: Operation Mouse – or how I inflitrated the Magic Kingdom

Tired.. Give me a moment.. got to sit a bit and try to get my mind back on how this day was. I liked how 2 people wanted to know where I got my Tron: Legacy hoodie.. GAH train of thought lost.. hang on gotta get back on the rails.

OK! I think I’m good. Hello again everyone! I JUST GOT BACK from the Magic Kingdom about a good hour ago, and after a car refill and a Slurpee drink I’m ready to give my review of the Magic Kingdom. This is a comparison to when I was a little kid so its a whole new ballgame as I was tiny back then so, deep breaths as I am exhausted, LETS GET TO THE PARK!

Main Street: Absolutely neat, went into one shop, mad they got rid of the awesome penny arcade and replaced it with a store, did not really stay here as long. I literally bee-lined it to Tomorrowland to ride Space Mountain.

Tomorrowland: My absolute favorite location  in the park, all the sights and sounds and everything is just awesome including that robotic trashcan that talked to people. Why don’t I have one of those?

Ride List:

Space Mountain: Omfg Alpha Sector Ride and in the front seat = amazing roller coaster experience. Gamma sector is fun too! Must do it again ASAP as I cant believe I waited 18 years since my last chance to try it when I was a little kid. It was SO worth the wait.

Stitches Great Escape: This was cute, I liked that they got rid of alien encounter and did it with Stitch, minus getting stitch spit dripped on me. Ew.

Monsters Inc. Laugh-In: Did not get to do this one! Saved it for next time.

People-Mover: Saved for next time!

Carousel Of Progress: Cute exhibit, nice to rest your feet, and that theme is catchy. It could put its money where its mouth is against a street fight vs Its A Small World. (hmm.. could make money off of that.. children from around the world versus a family that progresses through the future each time the carousel spins. GET-EM VIRTUAL REALITY GRANDMA).

Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin: I spun it more than shot really.

Tomorrowland Expressway:  Stayed away. didnt feel like getting stuck with driving a car going only 7 mph.

Hold on, gotta get my park map for the rest of the locations. AH here we go!

Fantasyland: Cutesy stuff, some decent rides, mostly for little kids but was still enjoyable.

Ride List:

“Its A Small World” : Endurance Test. Your a man if you can sit on that boat and endure the entire ride without wanting to throw yourself out of the boat and get crushed by gears, and still I want to see that street fight.

Micky’s PhilharMagic: Its a “Hey! Remember the song hits from Disney” done with Donald Duck goofing up stuff and him trying to get Micky’s magical hat back. Its not bad! Check it out if you can, its enjoyable, and neat how you could smell stuff. When Ariel came up for a closeup when she was singing she smelled pretty. Sigh. OK OK back to the rides.

Peter Pans Flight: Le Skipped as it was a kids ride.

Snow White’s Scary Adventures: See Previous ride info

Dumbo the flying elephant: I rode it to see if I could see if I would break it, I didnt! Huzzah! Raising my elephant to the top then dropping it back down sharply like a elevator ride.

Mad Tea Party: We made our teacup hit 88 miles per hour. Putting a dollar in the swear jar, as we saw serious SHIT happen when we were spinning around fast.

Micky’s ToonTown Fair: Skipped sadly, nothing interested us there. Might be torn down when we go next time. Oh well, onto the next section!

Adventureland: Neat looking, only rode Pirates of the Caribbean.

RIDE LIST:

Pirates of the Caribbean : Dark boat ride, neat with Jack Sparrow references, thats it.

Everything else: avoided like the plague

Frontierland: WELL HOWDY PARTNER! Your only going to do Big Thunder Mountain railroad as its the only good attraction there right now, since in January Splash Mountain is closed!

Ride List:

Big Thunder Mountain: Always fun, enjoyable coaster.

Splash mountain: Done run dry in January. Should be open in February I think.

Country Bear Jamboree: …wasnt there a movie of this? Ah I skipped it.

Liberty Square: Quick little quiet part of the Magic Kingdom, but its got 3 rides! We did 2!

Ride List:

Haunted Mansion: Always Fun..

The Hall Of Presidents: As a request from my girlfriend she wanted to go into to see this. The most I could say is good show to rest your feet in, and god help us if we get Sarah Palin as the next President, that would be a terrible Animatronic.

Food: Had everything you could want. We mostly ate at quick eat  stops then the dine-in locations were reservations only. The best place to get a drink was in Adventureland Stop in Aloha Isle as they had this awesome pinapple juice float that was DELICIOUS..

Gift Items: Meh. Nothing that really caught my eye at the park as there was a sad lack of Tron: Legacy stuff, maybe I was looking in the wrong section.

Overall: Magic Kingdom was great, will possibly go back in 2 years, when they have new stuff in the park. And that’s it now for Dashi Reviews Disney World: Tune in tomorrow if I’m not exhausted after going through Disney Hollywood Studios. If not expect a review Tuesday or Wednesday.

Till next time!

GO RIDE SPACE MOUNTAIN AS IM GOING THE HELL TO BED RIGHT NOW!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Alright! everyone wanted me to review this series.. so Im going to go ahead and review the Twilight series.. since That Jacob us such a stud..

NOPE, Its Movie review time again! and I’m starting another five part blockbuster I dub.. COEN New Year! why I made it like that? Because we had Jeff Bridgemas in December and watching True Grit Inspired me to do a review on the Coen Brothers top films. So I picked five films that I have and have yet not seen to review and they are, Fargo, O brother where art thou, Raising Arizona, The Hudsucker Proxy and my personal favorite, No Country For Old Men.

In Fargo, Jerry works in his father-in-law’s car dealership and has gotten himself into some financial problems. He has tried various schemes to come up with the money needed for a reason that is never really explained in the film. After watching the film it has to be assumed that his huge embezzlement of money from the dealership is about to be discovered by his father-in-law. When all else falls through, the plans he set in motion earlier for two men to kidnap his wife for ransom to be paid by her wealthy father (who doesn’t seem to have the time of day for the son-in-law). From the moment of the kidnapping, things go terribly wrong and what was supposed to be a non-violent affair turns real bloody with more blood added by the minute. Jerry seems to be upset about the goons getting there hands dirty to which brings in Frances, a pregnant cop who is determined to undercover the mystery of why 3 people were killed in a homicide, a fourth body and a fifth body shows up in a freak plot twist,

The whole film is quite interesting with some awkward hilarious scenes. If you enjoyed True Grit, it felt like a Minnesota western murder mystery with a lot of shooting and a wood chipper, If you have not seen this film id say at least catch it at least once as the story was quite good,

Well that’s it for now! coming up next week I review a classic – O Brother Where Art Thou?

Till next time!

The Conclusion of Jeff Bridgemas! – True Grit

As 2010 retires for the year we look back at awesome movies and video games of the year, as I havent really done a Video game review of 2010 and leaving that up to Sibby, I will finish what I started as I call the famous Holiday, Jeff Bridgemas. The Last movie of my mini-series that I will review is True Grit. A remake of the 1969 classic starring John Wayne, Jeff Bridges plays the role of Rooster Cogburn a rough and tough rugged Us Marshal who has a drinking problem. The whole story is not about him, but is about a girl named mattie who has a vengance against a outlaw named Tom Chaney who shot and killed her father, – Mattie finds rooster and hires him to track down the killer and is met up with a texas ranger named LaBoeuf who wants chaney for his own purposes as he was also wanted in texas, The unlikely trio, a girl who continues on against the wills of rooster and Laboeuf as each character happens to have there ”Grit” Tested.

Characters: The characters in the storyline really kept it going in a good pace – Jeff Bridges Gruffness to Matt Damon’s good ol Texas boy style to the rough outlawness of Lucky Ned as well as Tom Chaney, But the one character that really stole the show was definitely Mattie Ross – Played by Hailee Steinfield for being that young, and appearing in a coen brothers movie, AND holding her own with acting with those vast lines of dialogue, I would be really suprised if she did not recieve any nominations for awards next year.

Music: Awesome, Must get the soundtrack

Plot: for a western its pretty much not edge of your seat action but it kept the storyline going real well, a few graphic scenes, and some hilarious Humor, you need to at least see it once

Comparison of Old Vs New: This is the tough grit of the film – the orginal was right along the plot of the book, and the new remake was a nod to the book as well, the only picky bit was in the original and book, Laboeuf happens to die from the rock blow to his head, in the new film he happens to survive.

Summary: If you quite enjoy the western please go see this movie, it was quite enjoyable and was hilarious at times as well.. 9/10

And there you have it! Jeff Bridgemas has been completed I have left out certain movies starring Jeff Bridges like Starman and The Fisher King, but I have yet to see them, but they are Definitely in my queue for netflix to check out later on and possibly review later,

Dont think im done yet! Its a New Year.. which means New Reviews.. and New Movies! Next up on my dish is a Five film review or as I call it..

The Amazing Adventures Of Spiderman: This ride was alot of fun, although the only issue I had was I did not know if it was the angle I Was sitting or if it was my glasses but the 3d felt wobbly in my vision, like it did not look right. all and all it was a fun little mini ride, and I give props to the Ride Attendant Bro who let me and Vicki sit together even for being Single Riders.. 8.5 out of 10

Hulk Roller Coaster: …OMG from the takeoff to the finish it is a INCREDIBLE COASTER If you got balls please ride it.. it was the greatest experience I had at the island, the only issue I had was I had to ride in the modified seats because of my shoulders, and they only had two per coaster, so I had to get nudged to the side for one ride while I waited for another coaster to come back so I could sit in it, but after the wait, the coaster was quite extreme will ride again.. Hulk smash. 10/10

Discovery center: went in out of curiosity, and did not like, will pass as I did not have little kids..

Lost continent: Pretty looking, did not see the eighth voyage of sinbad but there’s a next time,

Poseidon’s fury: Neat lil show, awesome effects and was entertaining 8.5/10

The Magical World Of Harry Potter: Its like being in the movie! all these shops.. and the rides.. and the lines.. and the crowds.. PROTIP: Go early in the morning and Late in the evening to get the best experience, as midday its PAAAACKED.. ONTO THE RIDEEEZ..

The Forbidden Journey of Harry Potter: ..THIS RIDE WENT UPSIDE DOWN?! I did not know it! ..was alot of fun definitely 10/10

Flight of the hippogriff: Cutsey lil rollercoaster.. but never let sibby and dashi share the same seat.. was crampted but fun

Dragon Challgene: Did both sides, Chinese fireball is fast. Hungarian Horntail Is Intense. BOTH. AWESOME. COASTERS. If you love coasters Do this one and the Hulk. 10/fuggin10

Food of Harry potter!: Butter beer is delicious, I prefer it regular instead of frozen, Three broomsticks is a nice place to eat in, the hogs mead brew is decent for a beer, if you get to eat anything in Honeydukes, Eat the Rock cake, its a HUGE OATMEAL Rasin Cookie Cake! 10/10

Dr Seuss: Babiesland, Did the Seuss Carousel for lacie like a Bro.. but it would be good if I was younger definitely

Results of Islands of Adventure: will go back, 10/10

ONTO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!

Main Entry: Was nice, easy to get into, until we hit the Macys christmas parade, LINES LINES LINES, Had to push through to get to the rides we wanted to do here in the park.. ONTO THE RIIIIIDES..

Men In Black The ride: Absolute fun, and I pwned everyone else with my score of 190k, 300k here I come! 10/10

The Simpsons Ride: Now I was skeptical about this ride, I thought It was going to suck and be a stupid motion simulator ride.. it is.. but it was one of the best damn rides I have ever been on! nonstop laughs and everything else! I want to go back on this so bad, but dont want to pay extra to get into two parks at once, might have to buy a annual pass for just this.. 10/10

Hollywood Rip Ride Rock-it : Your next time my friend.. next time.. Did not get to ride on as I was coastered out.. and by the time I was exhausted and my legs hurt and my back hurt..

Results of Universal studios: Good rides, I wish they still had back to the future, and there are a few rides and shows that i still need to go see at that park 7.5/10

Overall summary: Excellent, excellent excellent, and I might have to get the meal deal plan next time as that might be cheaper to do definitely.. I will put my munies into a annual pass on this then at Disney World.. BUT WAIT, IM GOING TO DISNEY  IN JANUARY!

SO STAY TUNED NEXT TIME KIDS! As Dashi will have a 2parter review of Disney as he goes to Disney World! and Hollywood Backlot studios!

Till next time!

Tron: Legacy.. Ive been to The Grid and back.. and I loved it..

Tron Legacy Took 28 years to make.. That’s a hell of a long time to wait for a movie’s sequel to come out, when I heard the previews at Comicon 2009 that there was going to be a sequel to tron I almost busted a Digital Nut. Ive been following the movie’s announcement  since 2009 and up to not knowing there was a discovery of a Tron: Legacy ARG or Augmented Reality Game this year in 2010, on this famous website http://www.flynnlives.com. Discovering the backstory of how Tron: Legacy began through the betrayal comic book as well as the aggrivating controled movie tie-in videogame.  It was quite enjoyable.. except for the videogame, although it had a frustration thing that made me keep going, as I wanted more of the storyline. I had a lot of fun hyping myself up and enduring 6 hours of sleep this morning to do a full review of the movie. And I have to say Disney, You guys did a hell of a job and I swear to god you better make a sequel to this else i’m going to be pissed off as hell, covered in sweet flynn lives swag.. but pissed off as hell. Now.. Lets review the 3d version of the movie! ..as the Imax has a terrible screen but has extended scenes of the grid.. not really interesting enough to pay a extra 8 dollars for but.. Back to the Real3d Presentation!

Atmosphere of the film!:  There’s a huge chunk in comparison of the real world and the grid, the real world makes you go, blah yeah its San Fran California.. but when Sam gets zapped into the digital world, HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS.

They thought it would be smart to film the beginning parts of Tron: Legacy in 2d, hence to add the atmosphere of a normal world but it made a true tron fan remember scees from the first film, I had to keep in me from saying things like ”Hey! its the encom building!, Thats the really big door! ..omg dumont shipping!” back to the seriousness of the film. When Kevin goes into the grid, It takes you on what feels like a 3d digital rollercoaster of awesomeness ,  from the Grid games to the outlands, to the design of the solar sailor to the upgraded tanks and recognizers, MAN it was incredible.. but it isnt all eye candy! we also have a Plot, a Soundtrack as well as a final synopsys to cover!

Plot in a nutshell with no spoilers:  Kevin flynn goes missing in 1989, que 21 years later when you see sam flynn infiltrating encom to prank them and release there latest OS onto the internets.. and jumps off a building to try to escape.. Alan (Bruce really needed more scenes in the film definitely) gets a page from Kevin supposedly, goes to find sam to have him go to flynns old arcade, goes to the arcade, finds a tron machine, tries to play it, inserts quarter, drops quarter, realises theres scratches at the bottom of the cablet in the floor, moves the cabnet and HOLYGODS ITS A SECRET PASSAGEWAY TO FLYNNS PRIVATE OFFICE, continue with sam messing around in flynns office and getting digitized, gets captured, meets Flynn’s Program he created called Clu, and gets forced to play games when he gets tired of them and tries to escape. Que Quorra to help come save him and they go to meet flynns real father, then the real plot begins! and it gets pretty hectic then but it honestly makes sense in the end in a weird way! you’ll have to see it to believe it!

Soundtrack: Daft Punk. New Material. Why the hell havent you seen this movie yet? The fight scenes with daft punk playing in them are incredible

Final Synopsys: People just entering the Tron Universe will enjoy the beautiful scenery and the fantastic action scenes.. but will prolly fade in and out on the back story, The Old fans will have a tip of the hat given to them as they find all the little hidden easter eggs in the film of a nod back to the original tron movie.

If your new to the film series give it a chance and be sure to catch the original film as well! as that is a hidden gem that was made by disney.

All and all, this will be included in my blue ray collection when it comes out so disney can take more of my money,

BUT WAIT Jeff Bridgemas is definitely not over yet! we got one more film to review! coming soon after christmas will be my last review of Jeff Bridgemas this year! True Grit, Nothing better then the Dude and a western mixed into one, hopefully there will not be any pissing on anyone’s rug..

Till next time!

Flynn lives!
